What goes around, comes around
America (along with other major Western power) supplied the Saddam Iraq with lethal weapons including the famous chemical bombs in the decade long Iran-Iraq war that ruthlessly killed and suffocated Iranian soldiers and people in 1980-1988. Now the tables have turned, now America has gone to war with the same Iraq it allied with against Iran, now the same who shook hands with Saddam in that famous picture of the Iran-Iraq war era and sold him artilaries then and assisted him militarily giving satellite intelligence on Iranian soliders, manuvered a military attack against Saddam regime, now the administration claims the deadliest weapons that are killing the American troops in Iraq are Iranian made!!
NOW I'm sitting here, trying to think what does this all tell you? Is it all just simply the rules of the game of poilitcs, is it the cycle of history, is it god sitting up there watching life putting us in our place, is it us paying our dues..I'm thinking...again as always I'm thinking.
